Well this first stop on our ink adventure will lead us to the front steps of Ink Assassins located on the busy corner of 26th and Peach. IA has been around since February of 2000. The shop was awarded Erie's Best Tattoo Pallor in 2007 and is still one of Erie's top shops. IA provides all your piercings needs also. They currently have 4 main artists at the shop: Jake Miller, Victor "El Savage", Suga Bear and last but not least Thorns. All have a sick and unique style. Also they have many dope artist who to a little guest spotting just to name a few there is Dillion Hild coming straight from Waterloo Iowa, Justin Jarell from Jacksonville Florida, and many more. I myself have went under the needle with Jake, Dillion, Justin and all have been my favorite pieces yet of mine. IA provides styles from portrait,old school, flash and many more. So your thinking about getting a tattoo? Well Erie has a variety of qualified tattoo parlor's in the area. Each tattoo parlor around here has a different and unique style all their own. The first wise thing to do before selecting the parlor let alone the artist is to do a little investigating for yourself. Parlors differ from place to place. Some parlor have a style completely different from the another shop up the road. So the first thing you will want to do is visit each possible parlor. Most legit parlor and artist will have a portfolio with past work they have done. Also you will also want to have a so called "bond with your artist", no one wants a artist that is not fully focused on the task ahead. And my last piece of advice when choosing a parlor and artist make sure you are fully confident in he or she's ability and experience.
